The Progressive Dane Bike tour is on:
Saturday, June 3 at 10:30 a.m.
Burrows Park, 25 Burrows Road (east of Tenney Park on Sherman Avenue)
You can still register on the day of the ride!
The weather forecast for Saturday is looking great and the folks at
Progressive Dane are excited about our first-ever Bike Tour! There are a few things you should know before Tour Day, so please read on for more information.
Registered participants should arrive at the park to sign in between
9:30 and 10:15 a.m. You will need to pick up your t-shirt, Madison map, and grab bag and sign a waiver form if you have not already done so. (If you have a friend interested in participating in the tour, they may also register at this time.) *Please wear your t-shirt and keep your map with you throughout the tour.
The tour will start at 10:30 a.m. Your map will provide you with detailed directions to each location on the tour, but you are welcome to follow any route you choose and visit the locations in any order you choose. We only ask that you return to Burrows Park by 1:00 p.m. for an awards ceremony and the picnic lunch. You are encouraged to invite friends and family to join us at the picnic at 12:30 p.m. and watch you finish the tour.
What to bring on Tour Day:
-A water bottle
-A pen or pencil
-Your Madison map
*Please wear pants or shorts with pockets or bring a backpack to carry your map in
Tour Day Emergency Information:
-In case of an emergency while participating in the tour, please call 911
-For all other incidents (minor injuries, breakdowns, flat-tires, etc.) please call Tour Organizer Laura Newman at 608-320-1320 (cell number).
We will have a car, a bike mechanic and a first aid kit at your disposal. Please direct all other questions to Laura Newman at the PD Office.

We, the members of Progressive Dane, join together to form an independent political party in Dane County with a major focus on local issues.
