The Wednesday, July 25th, Progressive Dane General Membership Meeting will be held at the Oregon Senior Center on 219 Park Street.
Madison Progressive Danes want to thank Oregon Progressive Danes for hosting what is hoped to be the first of many more meetings off the Isthmus to learn and talk about things that concern us all whether we live on a farm, in the village, in a town, or in a city.
Progressive minded people of Dane County are encouraged to attend. The people of Oregon have a special invitation to come and talk about the issues important to them.
Wednesday's meeting will prove exciting with discussions on:
Oregon’s Building Moratorium;
Dane County proposed ordinance on Septage monitoring; and a
Presentation on Badfish Creek.
Membership will also be voting on a revised mission statement and new slogan.
The regular meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Senior Center. Prior to the meeting, there will be a tour of several hot land-use sites, so plan to come around 5:00 p.m. if you can. (click here for more information about the tour) The tour will begin at the intersection of Sun Valley Parkway and Ravenoaks Trail.
