Progressive Dane's General Membership Meeting

6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
2nd floor of Madison's Downtown Public Library
One week earlier due to the holiday.
This month's chair is Jacque Pokorney.
Items of particular interest being presented for vote this month include:
- Adam Porton and Kyle Szarzynski of Student Progressive Dane will lead a discussion and vote on a resolution about immigration and deportation.
- PD Elections Chair Lukas Diaz will recommend early endorsements for
vote of candidates for Madison Common Council.
Regular reports include brief updates from staff, treasurer, and electeds.

We, the members of Progressive Dane, join together to form an independent political party in Dane County with a major focus on local issues. We pledge to work to improve the quality of life in Dane County for all people, particularly those marginalized by economic and social discrimination. We will work to improve our local government by making it open, easier to understand, and accessible for all citizens of Dane County. We are working to achieve positive policy change by electing accountable progressive officials and mobilizing citizen action.

Volunteers are always needed for a wide variety of activities. Come to Volunteer Night, September 15th, 5:30 p.m. at the Social Justice Center to find out how you can help.
Progressive Dane's General Membership meeting will be held Wednesday, September 23rd, 6:30 p.m. at the Madison's Downtown Public Library.
Progressive Dane's Autumn Assembly, PD Outreach & Policy will sponsor an Assembly and Reception Saturday, October 10th, beginning at 1 p.m. More information later.
