Recommended City and County Meetings this Week 6/22/15

Find out which meetings Progressive Dane recommends this week at the City and County.  These are meetings with issues our elected officials are working on and need support or issues identified by the party as being of concern.

CITY

Tonight the Board of Estimates will be having a special meeting to hear capital (large projects) budget proposals from Engineering and Traffic Engineering.  They meet at 4:30 in room 260 at the Municipal Building (215 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd)

Also tonight at 5:30 city committee members will be getting a training from the city attorney's office in Room GR-27 (Police Department Training Room) of the City-County Building (210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.)

Wednesday at 4:30 the Urban Design Commission has a jam packed agenda with Chick-Fil-A, The Hub II, Union Corners, Garver Feedmill, Judge Doyle Square and more.  Note, this meeting will be in a larger room upstairs, room 260 in the Municipal Building.

Thursday at 6:00 in room LL-110 in the Municipal Building the LORC or Landmarks Ordinance Review Committee continues to try to finish their work on the new ordinance.

COUNTY

Today redistricting begins!  At noon  :(.  Room 354 in the City County Building.

Tuesday at 5:30 in Room 354 at the City-County Building the first meeting of the Alternatives to Arrest and Incarceration Workgroup meets.

Wednesday at 5:00 in Room 351 the Mental Health, Solitary Confinement and Incarceration Workgroup also has its first meeting.
